Friday evening provided all the right ingredients for another special South Dakota sunset. I noticed that it could be a great one about 15 minutes before the sun set so I had to hustle out to the edge of town (Sioux Falls, SD) to find a suitable scene. I was really only looking for a piece of open grass but in finding that, I also found a nice old white barn. The photos below track how the light changed over the course of about 15 to 20 minutes. It was one of the better sunsets of the year in my opinion. Click on the image for a larger file to view and enjoy!
